MALDEN, Massachusetts. -- January 1, 1998 -- VAMTECH Enterprises Inc. today announced Drumtrax Library 3.0, the Macintosh/Windows 95 CD-ROM featuring the Drumtrax Librarian database program and over 25,000 measures of fully organized Standard MIDI file drumset and percussion performances using General MIDI Standard note assignments. The Drumtrax Library 3.0 CD-ROM contains four complete Standard MIDI file library sets to accommodate most any MIDI sequencing or notation software program for Macintosh and Windows 95, along with workstations using CD-ROM drive capabilities (Drumtrax Library MIDI files only).

•The Drumtrax Library sets are Standard MIDI file types "saved" in these variations:

SMF Type_0 (all notes on one MIDI track)
SMF Type_0 (2 MIDI tracks of "drums and percussion")
SMF Type_1 (each note on a separate MIDI track)
SMF Type_1 (2 MIDI tracks of "drums and percussion")

Each Library set contains over 25,000 measures!

•Drumtrax Librarian database program will default to any MIDI sequencing or notation software program in Macintosh or Windows 95 and launches Drumtrax Library files by simply setting or re-setting options in the preferences menu and clicking the LAUNCH button for a particular Drumtrax Library sequence.

•Drumtrax Librarian Window (main screen) provides buttons to execute the following tasks:
        Show All (re-lists all library files after a search)
        Search (opens the Search Window)
        Launch (launches Drumtrax files using "current" MIDI sequencer)
        Markers (opens the Marker window for current sequence record)
        Note Map (opens the Note Map Window for  easy reference)

•Drumtrax Librarian Search Window provides search options in these fields: Sequence Name, Tempo, Meter, Category, Description, User Comments, and over 100 Select Keywords listed in the database. A Sequence Window provides detailed information about each Drumtrax sequence and here users can  add, change and save personal comments in the User Comments field.

•On-line Help file provides general tips and user information.
