Drumtrax Review
If you're tired of the same old drum patterns
or if you think that your drum patterns are really good, just
listen to Drumtrax for some fantastic sequences. Just pick a file
and the ideas start flowing instantly to create music. I am listening
to the Dance files right now and they are dyamite. Set your drum
machine to the MIDI table provided in the manual, load the Drumtracks to
your sequncer (I am using Cakewalk) pick a file and listen away.
the human quality of Drumtrax has
a fell and velocity that are really exceptional and noticable. There
isn't that robotic, stiff feeling that is inherent in so many products
of this nature. The more I listen the more impressed I become.
There are programmed sequences as well as live performances and they are
done so well that I can't tell one from the other.
As you select parts you can start to create
a musical collage of drums that fits your every musical mood or fancy.
It's so easy by using your sequencer's copy and paste functions that before
you know it, your masterpiece is finished.
It seems they'vegot every particular pattern
pretty well covered for any style or rhythm.
After you create a drum kit bed you can
get very complex arrangements by borrowing elements (kick, snares, toms,
etc.) from anywhere in the library.
Installation is real easy but a hard drive
is recommended for easier accessibility and speed.
Here is a wonderful library of fantastic
drum patterns that will keep you busy for quite a while and the price is
very reasonable, considering all the work that went into it.
Drumtrax can make your day a whole lot
easier when it comes to making music! - Mike Kakos
